crazy comicon peoples
This year was my first time ever at the crazy comic book convention Comicon in San Diego. I drove down bright and early Saturday morning to avoid traffic and headed over to my good friend Lauren's house. We went over to the convention center with the swarm of other Comicon people. When we got there the line to buy passes was ridiculous, luckily I had applied for a free pro pass and the line was much shorter. I saw some of my work friends on line, then we headed into the craziness of the convention floor. It was system overload from the first minute on, everywhere you looked was either a crazy costume, some nutty art work or exhibit. We walked around the floor a few times and then headed over to the Animation Mentor booth since Lauren was volunteering. The booth was packed with non stop traffic, later that day Shawn and Bobby gave reel reviews which made for even more excitement. Garr, so jealous! Why does Southern California get all the cool stuff? Is it because they have cool people like Anthea and we get stuck with Guvhnur Ahnuld? Just not fair! :)

nicalooch! i would have to say that no cal gets it's fair shake at cool stuff and cool peoples, pretty soon you'll have jaja beans there which is a huge coup for no cal.
hey reb! you were definitely missed, lots of people told me say hi to you!! comicon was alright, it was more fun just hanging w the AM crowd than the actual convention, so you didn't miss too much.
Hey Anthea. Glad to see you had a fun time in San Diego. Wish I coulda made it. But Don't give up on my blog because of the h codec thing! If I lose you, my readership is cut in half!
hey todd. h. compression is like a thorn in my side. but I won't hold it against you, you're blog is awesome, probably has something to d w the kick ass animations you have up. but alas, i still can't view that h. compression from work so i am left out here in the cold all alone with no fuzzy animations to watch. : (

cool, sara! i think sigg will also be in san diego next year, so 2 birds. hopefully you will ba a california native by then and it won't be such a trek.
